ORDERING YOUR PORTRAIT

Portraits are painted from high quality photographs emailed to me by

the client. If the photos are taken by a third party, such as a professional photographer, their written permission must be obtained before I can begin your portrait. It is the client’s responsibility to obtain this permission and I ask that this written permission then be forwarded to myself as proof and also to ensure that I can credit the photographer
where necessary.

In order to create the best quality portrait, I need good quality photos. If photos are of too poor quality for me to create a top-quality portrait, I will not be able to accept the commission. I will not serve my clients with a painting that is anything less than my best.

When the choice of the photograph, general composition, pricing and specifications are agreed upon, a Commission Agreement will be sent for signature and a 1/3 deposit is due.

Completion time depends upon how many clients are in line ahead of you so if you require a painting for a specific date, please consider ordering 3 to 6 months ahead of time.

The finished artwork may be used by the client for personal enjoyment and display only. No prints or copies shall be made, or profit gained in any way, from the finished artwork by the client, without the express written permission of the artist.

Digital photo images may be reproduced for personal use only. No commercial use is permitted.

The artist retains the right to use the images for advertising artistic services, through printed advertisement and digital or social media. The artist retains the right to use the image on printed products such as greeting cards and other merchandise where appropriate.
